Today I was facce to a problem with a Lenovo G50, no wifi
every thing looked allright, updated drivers, check hardware, check bios, no disabled wireless button
the WLAN card is an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3160
after hours of diagnostic and checks and googling, the problem was an energy management app
so you have to uninstall it, go to control panel and find Energy management and you uninstall it, reboot, and voila, it worked for me, then if you want, try another energy management you find on the website of lenovo
